October 2005

Hello there everyone! Long time no speak, huh?

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer. I had a beautiful, restful, and very productive summer in the midwest (Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin) and was able to visit with some of my most dearest friends (and their preggy bellies!) and make some delightful new ones. There's just something about Indiana that makes me feel...home. Luckily, it turned out to be inspirational as well, since I went to work on songs for a record. I returned to Boston with a whole slew of new songs that I can't wait for you to hear, including 2 new songs set to lyrics by my friend Burt LaFontaine.

News about the Record (capital R, of course)
I'm going to be working with a fantastic producer, and all-around lovely person, Gar Ragland. We're so thrilled and can't wait to begin! I'll keep you up-to-date on everything as things progress but we hope to do most of the recording in the late fall and early winter. You'll notice I'm not performing as much right now. Please have patience. I'm trying to get things as ready for recording as I can so things will go smoothly. You can always keep your eyes out for me in the subway. I'm sure to be there often.

The Website!!!
Finally, the website. THE WEBSITE! Can you believe it? Sorry for the wait...but it's coming. It should be up in the next several days, in fact. I'm so excited about it! Mr. ClosetHipster has created a beautiful new home for me and I can finally get rid of that hot pink page of no information whatsoever! In the meantime, as always, please feel free to visit my pages on Sonicbids and MySpace (2 new songs up here!).

Rent Me!
Remember, I'm always interested in being rented. House concerts are so much fun and I'd love to perform in your living room! Interested in having some friends over for a private concert? Email me and I'll tell you how you can do just that!

Thank you, as always, for your constant support.
I hope everyone is having a beautifully brisk autumn!
